Yahoo is sending a camera crew to interview/tape our group run tomorrow night.
Can anyone say: GLAMOUR SHOTS!!! Kidding. It will be great to get onto Yahoo's internal portal to spread the news about what we are doing and why we are doing it. It's an opportunity for 10,000 employees to learn about what we are doing.
We will all be wearing Yahoo shirts of some flavor; I hope Eran wears his tight Yahoo bike shorts too.

Jeanne,
ReplyDeleteReach deep and you will find the strength to meet this challenge. I am honored to know that you are so committed to this cause. Trust me, you efforts make a huge difference. Two of the drugs that have kept me alive these past 2 years were developed with funding from LLS. It makes a difference. Oh, and as an aside, I have had mytrol valve prolapse my entire life (57 years). No complications, even with over 500 doses of chemotherapy and 3 transplants. I hope to meet you in NYC in July.
Jeanne, I am Catherines mom and I must say I am awed by your determination and BIG HEART. You are now part of this family and I hope you accept my huge embrace as I thank you most sincerely for keeping us going. We would not have made it to this point without incredible people like you. From a mom's point of view, children doing something out of the box causes such angst and sleepless nights, even when our kids are grown. But have no doubt, your success will bring such delight and pride to your family when you reach your goal. Susan
